Nellie L. Melvin

On August 27, 2021, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend Nellie L. Melvin decided to leave us to be with her other angels in Heaven. Even though, she knows she will be missed here on Earth, we, her family, understands that she is in a better place. She was a member and served on the deaconess and culinary ministries at Brighton Rock AME Zion Church.

She leaves to cherish her life and love, her daughter – Arnetta Wilson; her son – Jermaine Melvin; four grandchildren – Ramarro Thompson, Doltrenn Thompson, DaShawn Melvin and Aaliyah Melvin; one sister – Carolynn Robinson, and a host of other friends and relatives.
