Charnille Maria Wright was born on December 18, 1966 to the late Jean Marie Brown Wright and Charles Langston Wright in Portsmouth, VA. She was educated in the Portsmouth Public School System and graduated from Manor High School in June 1985. She furthered her studies at Norfolk State University, Norfolk, VA., graduating with honors in 1998.

She served active duty in the United States Air Force and then the Air Force Reserves. Charnille and her family were members of Community United Presbyterian Church in the Cavalier Manor section of Portsmouth, VA.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her sister – Valgrace Elinor Wright Brooks of Portsmouth, VA., and a host of aunts, cousins, and friends.
