Andre Maurice Staley

Andre Maurice Staley, 39, of Astoria, Queens then hailed to Newport News, Virginia, passed away Friday, July 30, 2021 after battling a long fight. Andre was born in Newport News, Virginia on February 15, 1982. Andre was full of laughter and positivity. He was a great father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. Being a father and an amazing big brother to his siblings meant the world to Andre. Andre’s comical personality lit up any room.

Andre is preceded in death by his parents, Doneva Staley-Peat, and Michael Hobbs. He is survived by two lovely children, Janaya-Forever Staley and Isaiah Staley; 1 granddaughter, Ania expected to arrive soon; his 2 sisters, Brandy Peat and Mahogany Nelson, 3 brothers, Robert Peat, Deron Mullen, and Michael Hobbs; his grandmother, Patricia Phillips of New York, the mother of his children Latasha Rios Walker and Francine Thompson, and his nieces and nephews; and the rest of his family and friends.
