Missionary Levoria Patricia Eley was a woman of faith that was drenched in the favor of the Lord. She stood on the promises of the Lord, every single day she walked with Him on this earth. She was wrapped in love and graciously ushered into heaven’s gates on February 10, 2021 at 1:31 am.
The Nurturer and Her Legacy Levoria was born on November 1, 1955 in Portsmouth, Virginia. She was predeceased by her father Clifton Moore, Sr., her mother Mary Delores Blunt, and her stepfather Hubert Blunt, Jr. She was predeceased by her two older brothers, Clifton Moore, Jr. and Alvin Moore. She is survived by her brother James Moore. She attended I.C. Norcom High School and was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in Portsmouth, Virginia in 1974. There is where she met her husband of 46 years, Elder Cecil Eley. From that union was birthed two children: Elder Julian Eley, Sr. (Meta Eley), and Shawanda Alston. Everyone that was blessed to know her, knew that she was called into the ministry of motherhood and nurturing. She raised her children alongside her husband on the sound foundation of the word of God. She was a devoted grandmother to five exuberant grandchildren: Jue’ Tisha Eley-Rodgers (Brandon), Shyail Owens, Julian Eley, Jr. (Trinity), Chiya Alston, and Bryce Alston. She also had two precious great grand-daughters, Kyleigh Eley and Nami Eley. After kingdom business, family was her top priority. She found great joy in being a part of family gatherings, preparing delicious meals out of love, shopping for others and telling her family what the Lord said to her in prayer. Levoria was blessed to be a comforter whether it was through her cooking, words of wisdom, or a smile on her face. She showed unfathomable love, dedication, and devotion to her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The Servant to the Kingdom Missionary Levoria Eley was a woman that emitted the fruits of the spirit as she served her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a prayer warrior whose faith could command the attention of the Lord. She was a faithful member of The Way of Truth Church COGIC for 34 years. There, she served as a beloved hospitality worker, missionary, and a powerful intercessor! Serving God’s kingdom brought great joy to Levoria and for years she selflessly prayed and interceded for many. If God was being glorified, that was enough for her.
Levoria’s sweet and loving spirit caused many to love and adore her and we give all thanks to God for lending us his angel.
