Robert Eddie Ellis was born April 3, 1941 in Littleton, NC. He was a devoted husband to Vanessa Ellis for 40 years. He was the proud father of Nakia Knox (Mansa) and Robert Ellis.
Robert loved watching westerns and spending time with his two favorite people in the world, his grandsons Elijah and Myles Knox. Most of his day consisted of dotting and feeding them sweets they were not supposed to have. Robert was employed as a sanitation worker with the City of Portsmouth for almost 30 years. Robert loved doing for others and seeing his family and friends laughing and having a good time. He will be greatly missed but God has called him home for his rewards and rest. The family thanks everyone for their prayers and condolences. |
