Mrs. Dorothy A. Parker, born May 8, 1936, departed this life on December 28, 2020. She was born in Accomack, Virginia. “Nana”, as she was so affectionately known by so many, will always be remembered for her gentle spirit and sweet smile. She was a member of The Church of God and Saints of Christ, Temple Beth El in Suffolk, VA. Her highest joy was her God and her family.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Willis H. Parker, Sr.; and her loving daughter in law, Pamela Parker (Willis). She leaves to cherish her memory Renee Parker Volkens (Angelo) of Newark, DE; Willis H. Parker, Jr. (Pam) of Waldorf, MD; Wilhelmina Parker Palmer (Jerry) of Portsmouth, VA; Esther Parker Justis of Salisbury, MD; James A. Parker (Lovey) of Waldorf, MD; and Madeline Murray of Harlem, NY. God blessed her with 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. The light of her love will shine brightly through all that adored her.
We thank God for the love she exemplified and shared with countless family and friends. |
