**WALK THROUGH VIEWING GUIDELINES:

Visitors are encouraged not to display signs of affection, such as hugging or kissing while inside of facilities to decrease spread of COVID19 virus. We are asking our guest to comply with guidelines such as facial coverings, temperature checks and limit visits to 3-5 minutes. Only 10 visitors are allowed at a time in the chapel during viewing hours. Thank you for your cooperation. 

Ella Celestine Duke, 75, of Portsmouth departed this life on November 7, 2020. She preceded in death by her parents Calvin Spence and Rosa Lee Browne and her brother Frank Spence.  She retired from Portsmouth and Chesapeake General Hospital after working for over 20 years. She is a proud alum of Lady of Victory Catholic School and Crestwood High School.  She was a lifelong member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.  She was a member of the United Usher Board and also a member of the Improve Benevolent Protective Elks of the World.   She is survived by her husband, Wyman C. Duke; two sons – Curtis McDonald, Jr. of Norfolk, VA and Richard Anthony McDonald of Washington DC; two daughters  -Roslyn Durham (Andre) and Audrey Harris (Tommy) of Portsmouth, two stepchildren – Carmella Duke and Brian Duke, six grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
