Calvin Cleardis Epps, 77 a retired Longshoreman foreman, transitioned peacefully surrounded by his love ones at his home in Portsmouth, Virginia on March 29, 2020.
Calvin is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Evelyn H. Epps, three sons,Calvin Cleardis Epps, Jr.(Stephanie) of Willamsburg,Va.,Jerald A. Epps, Sr. (Shari), Gregory Epps, (Nicole), and one daughter April Epps Daye (Clevon) all of Suffolk. Also 5 grandsons,3 granddaughters,8 sisters, 5 brothers,2 deceased sisters, 3 deceased brothers and a host of relatives, family and friends.
“Clee” as he was affectionately called by those who knew him, was educated in Suffolk County School System.
He spent much of his time fishing and cooking. He was a faithful member of New Hope Baptist Church in Suffolk, Virginia.
