Cecelia Bess

Ms. Cecelia Bess, 60, passed away at her residence in Portsmouth, Va on Friday Dec 6, 2019.

Cecelia was born Feb 11, 1959 to the late Andrew Bess Jr., and Verlena R. Bess. She was the oldest of her siblings, the late Maurice Bess Sr., and Antonio Bess. Cecelia was a graduate of Churchland High School, class of 1978. She was a dedicated, and hard worker, giving over 30 years of her life to Kentucky Fried Chicken, and 6 years to Maryview Medical Center. She was also a faithful member of Third Baptist Church in Portsmouth, Va. Above all else, she was a loving mother, and grandmother. She leaves behind three children (Jamaal, LaShontay, and Tiffany). She also will be smiling from above down at her 9 grandchildren that she loved with all of her heart (Tayvion, Jamaal, Kel’Cie, Kahleil, Kalen, Kennedi, Kendall, Qadir, and Kyrie)
