Phyllis M. Cuffee

Phyllis Maria Cuffee, 61, departed this life on October 31, 2018.  She was born on September 27, 1957 in Portsmouth, Virginia to Virginia Green Cuffee and the late Marion Cuffee.

After twenty years of honorable and distinguished service, she retired from the United States Army with the rank of Staff Sergeant.  During her career, Phyllis held a myriad of positions of great responsiblility.  Among her many assignments were Drill Sergeant, and Non Commissioned Officer in Charge of Battalion Logistic Support just to name a few.

She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving and devoted daughter, Adrienne Maria Cuffee of Fort Sill, Oklahoma; devoted mother, Virginia Cuffee of Portsmouth, Virginia; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018, 11 am at Corprew Funeral Home Chapel, 1822 Portsmouth Blvd., Portsmouth, VA  23704.
