Vashti L.S. Josie

Vashti Lee Southall Josie, 86, departed this life on November 4, 2018. She was born in Portsmouth, VA and was a member of Calvary Evangelical Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Josie Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter, Anita; four sons, Richard Jr., Kevin Sr., Stephen and Carlyle; two sisters; one brother; seven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren.  Viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2018, from 12 noon to 8 pm at Corprew Funeral Home, 1822 Portsmouth Blvd., Portsmouth, VA  23704.   A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018, 10 am at Calvary Evangelical Baptist Church, 205 Gust Lane, Portsmouth, VA  23701.  Interment will be in Olive Branch Cemetery, Portsmouth, VA.
