Ronnie R. Walker

Ronnie Renee Walker, 63, departed this life on August 12, 2018. He was born on May 16, 1955 in Portsmouth, VA to Almuria Moore and the late Robert Walker.  He was a graduate of I.C. Norcom  Class of ’73 and graduated with honors from Norfolk State University in 1983.  Ronnie proudly served our country in the United States Army.

He leaves to cherish his memories: a daughter, Chanda Walker of TX; mother, Almuria Moore; brother, Robert Walker III of KY; three grandchildren, Jason Smith, Jamie Smith (Ariel), and Jasmine Smith; one great-grandson, Jordan Renee Smith; three aunts, Effie M. King of Franklin, Pauline Jordan of Chesapeake, and Geraldine Walker of North Carolina; other relatives and friends.

A memorial service for Ronnie will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018, 11 am at Corprew Funeral Home Chapel, 1822 Portsmouth Blvd., Portsmouth, VA 23704.
