Das'Jae L. J. Fox

Das’Jae L. J. Fox, age 22, son brother, friend, musical artist, and “comedian,” departed this life on August 18, 2018 in Pinebluff, North Carolina.  Das’Jae was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on June 26, 1996 to Jessica Fox and Kareem Hayes.  After receiving his high school diploma from Pinecrest High School in Southern Pines, North Carolina he briefly attended East Carolina University.

Das’Jae fell in love with making music and performing on stage.  Das’Jae was unique in character and he loved setting his own trends.  He was a beautiful person, who touched many lives.  He loved his crew, extended family, and friends.

Das’Jae will be sorely missed by his family and all who knew him.  He is survived by: his parents, Jessica Fox and Kareem Hayes; his step-mother, Tiffaney Wallace-Hayes; brother, Jalen Minor; older sister, Markeemia Anderson; brother, Kason Wallace; and sister, Blescin Hayes.  He will also be missed by his grandparents, aunts, uncle, cousins and many, many dear friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018, 11 am at Union Baptist Missionary Church, 5414 Nansemond Pkwy, Suffolk, VA  23435.  Interment will be in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery, 8300 Crittenden Rd., Suffolk, VA  23436.
