Randall A. Pearson Jr.

Randall A. Pearson Jr., 60, departed this life on July 5, 2018.  He was the son of the late Randall A. Pearson Sr. and Annie M. Lewis and was born on August 21, 1957 in Portsmouth, VA.  Randall was a member of Phillipi Church of God In Christ in Portsmouth, VA and accepted the Lord as his Savior as a young teenager.  He also sang in the young adult choir.  He attended Cradock High School and after graduation, he went on to serve in the United States Army and Reserve for several years. He was a current employee at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Hampton, VA, having worked in the dietary department for years and also served in the union.

 Randall was preceded in death by his father Randall A. Pearson Sr., mother Annie M. Lewis, and one sister, Joyce E. Pearson.

 He is survived by: two brothers, Kenneth L. Pearson and David H. Pearson both of Portsmouth; one aunt, Florence Tyler of Virginia Beach, VA; one niece, Davida Epps (Omar) of Portsmouth, VA; two nephews, George W. Pearson of Portsmouth and Davon Robertson of Suffolk; and a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 12 noon to 8 pm.  A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018, 10 am at Corprew Funeral Home Chapel, 1822 Portsmouth Blvd., Portsmouth, VA  23704.  Burial will be in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk, VA.
