Robert A. Johnson

Robert A. Johnson Sr., 65, passed away in his sleep at Dinwiddie Rehabilitation Center, on Sunday, April 1, 2018. He was born August 27, 1952 to Lee Andrew and Luzara Johnson in Portsmouth, Virginia. Robert enjoyed fishing, home improvement, and landscaping.

Survivors include his 5 sons Tyras (Marika), Donnell, Robert Jr., James Lee, and Dashawn; 3 daughters Ruthellen (Tywarren), Teiarra, and Ashley; 6 grandsons Keiontae, Donnell, Anthony, Tishawn, Keishawen, and Damaree; 3 granddaughters Diamond, Ananda, and Tiyana; 3 brothers Pete, Bernard, and Barry; 2 Sisters Beverly and Pamela; Estranged wife Wendy; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be held on Sunday, April 8, 2018, from 2 pm to 5 pm at Corprew Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 9, 2018, 12 Noon at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milners Rd., Suffolk, VA  23434.
