Hazel T. Wright

Hazel Wright peacefully passed away on September 6, 2017. She was born on February 13, 1934 to the late Emma and Henry Parker, Sr. in Holland, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Wright, Sr.; son Dwayne Turner; six brothers and one sister. She is survived by sons Eric Turner (Angela); Carvell Turner (Shirvelle); daughter Teresa Clark; daughter-in-law Idell Turner; stepsons Michael Wright (Pam) and Eugene Wright, Jr. (Kathy); seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, from 12 Noon to 8 pm at Corprew Funeral Home.  A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, 12 Noon at St. John Baptist Church, 2200 Effingham St. Portsmouth, VA 23704. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 3920 Airline Blvd., Chesapeake, VA 23321.
