Mildred L. Johnson

Mildred L. Johnson, 69, passed away on Monday, September 04, 2017 at Sentara Obici Hospital. “Miki” was born on January 17, 1948 in Hertford County. She was a graduate of Portsmouth Schools and retired from the NNSY in 1992. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ernestine Ellis. She is survived by her children, Andrea Davis, Jamar Warren, Darius Collins, Charles Holland, III two grandchildren, Rico Johnson and Kimara Davis. She is also survived by her brothers Fred and Melvin (Doris) Ellis, sisters, Brenda Wynn, Sandra Ellis, Lisa Davenport, Linda (Isaac) Turner, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held from 6:00pm – 8:00pm on Friday, September 08, 2017 at Corprew Funeral Home. A life celebration service will be held 11:00am on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Miracle of Faith Baptist Church, 30 Claremont Drive, Portsmouth, Virginia 23702. Interment will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake, VA.  The family has entrusted Corprew Funeral Home to handle the final care arrangements.
