Jeanette Octavia Keeling Carey, 91, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017.

She would remain active after moving to Virginia Beach working the voting precincts for the next 35 years, her last being the year of President Barack Obama’s election.
She loved her church and family. Through the years she served as Sabbath school teacher, treasurer, and General Chairman of the Immersion Committee for over 30 years.
