Warren Ridley

Warren Ridley, 61, departed this life on November 20, 2016.  He was born on August 3, 1955 to the late Willie C. Ridley, Sr. and Lois Brown-Ridley in Portsmouth, Virginia.  He was educated in the Portsmouth School system and was self-employed as a painter.  Affectionately known to many as “Ugh” or “Ugly Baby,” Warren was the life of the party anywhere he went.

Warren was predeceased in death by both parents, Willie Ridley and Lois Brown-Ridley; two sisters, Joyce Ridley and Gloria Riddick; and two brothers, Willie Clayton Ridley (Jackson) and James Riddick.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving daughter, Keisha Body; three grandchildren, Kemaree, Jamontae, and Keasia Body of Portsmouth, VA; two brothers, David Ridley of Hartford, Connecticut and Brian Ridley of Portsmouth, VA; six sisters, Doris Ridley-Bond of Waterbury, CT, Barbara Jean Ridley-Saunders, Phyllis Wynn, Denise Godfrey, Carol Ridley and Lynn Ridley of Portsmouth, VA; a special niece, April Ridley-Alston of Chesapeake, VA; and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 25, 2016, 11 am at Corprew Funeral Home Chapel.
