January 17, 1983 - April 5, 2025 |
Bianca Serie Ruiz, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, left this world on April 5, 2025, in Norfolk, Virginia, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on January 17, 1983, to Guadalupe Robles Ramos and Maria Dolores Ramos, who instilled in her the values of love, resilience, and family. Bianca’s life, though tragically shortened, was filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable moments that will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew her. A proud graduate of Flour Bluff High School, Bianca completed her education in 2001, after which she honorably served in the United States Navy for over a decade as an Aviation Ordinance Petty Officer Second Class. Her dedication to service was evident not only in her military career but also in her subsequent role in the Federal Civil Service, where she worked for three years as a referral coordinator at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. Bianca embodied a strong work ethic and a commitment to helping others, traits that earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues. On December 27, 2021, Bianca married her soulmate, Ren Ruiz. Their love story blossomed into a beautiful family, filled with joy and adventure. Bianca was a devoted mother to her sons, Caliek Isaac Garcia and Caleb Abel Garcia who were the light of her life. Together with Ren, they created cherished memories through little escapades and long drives, exploring the world around them and each other. Bianca enjoyed spending quality time at the movies, a passion she shared with her family, and delighted in watching her husband play disc golf, often cheering him on from the sidelines. Bowling was another of Bianca’s favorite pastimes, where laughter and friendly competition brought her family closer together. Bianca was a relatively quiet person, yet those fortunate enough to know her discovered a woman with a spicy sense of humor and a heart full of warmth. She deeply loved her family, pouring her time and energy into nurturing those relationships. Her love extended beyond her immediate family; she had an unwavering bond with her sister, Vanessa Ann Molina, and a profound affection for her canine companion, Mac, who brought her endless joy and comfort. Bianca’s passing leaves a profound void in the lives of her loved ones. She is survived by her husband, Ren Ruiz; her beloved sons, Caliek Isaac Garcia and Caleb Abel Garcia; her step-daughter Giuliana Grace Ruiz and step-son Gabriel Ray Ruiz and her treasured sister, Vanessa Ann Molina. Her family wishes to express their gratitude for the love and support received throughout her battle and invites those who knew her to join in honoring her memory. A funeral service will be held at Kingdom Life Church on April 12, 2025, at 5:00 PM, where family and friends can gather to celebrate the beautiful life of Bianca Serie Ruiz. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in the form of gift cards for groceries to support them during this difficult time. As we remember Bianca, we extend a special message of love: Thank you, Bianca, for being an incredible wife, mother, and sister. Your spirit will forever live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing you. Your legacy of love and laughter will endure, guiding your family and friends as they navigate the days ahead without your physical presence but with your spirit forever intertwined in their lives. |
