Shelton Lewis “Tre” Jordan Jr. was born to Armentha Williams and
Shelton L. Jordan Sr. on November 26, 2003, passed away on November 1,
2023, at Sentara Norfolk General at the tender age of 19 years old.
Shelton is survived by his mother, Armentha Williams, father, Shelton L.
Jordan Sr. (Sharon), Grandmother Barbara Coston, sisters ShaKia
Williams, Kizzy Jordan, brothers, Michael Williams, Shelton Jordan,
Gabriel Wade, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends and
family who will miss him so much.
Shelton was predeceased by his grandparents Mary Elizabeth and James
Williams, Aunt Amy Williams, and Uncle Renatos Williams.
Shelton was born at Maryview Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia. He grew
up in Chesapeake, Virginia where he attended Western Branch High
School. While at Western Branch Shelton was a member of the basketball
team, track team, and played the violin in orchestra. Shelton was immersed
in several clubs and activities at Western Branch.
Shelton was a member of Queen Street Baptist church where he served on
the junior usher board and was a member of the choir.
Shelton was a fun-spirited soul who took on many passions, he was seen as
a “Renaissance Man.” Shelton was great with his hands he could cook you
a meal and fix your car. His specialty was his barbecue sauce from scratch.
Shelton was seen as a “computer whiz,” and technologically sound.
Shelton had a great eye and ear dabbling in photography and making and
producing music. Shelton was a deputy black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
Shelton was a beautiful person inside and out. His smile was so infectious
it would light up the whole room. He cared so deeply for the people around
him. He made an impact on many lives and will be forever missed. You
fought a good fight, until we meet again!
