Mary Edith Lancaster, 79, of Portsmouth, VA, was called to heaven on March 6, 2016 at 1:30 am at Maryview Hospital. She was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on July 19, 1937 and was married to the late William Earl Lancaster.
Mary is survived by: daughter, Angela Renee Turner Young; granchildren, Lawanda Monique, Michelle, Monica, and Amanda; four grandchildren; one brother, Ronnie K. Stephens; three sisters, Jean Overby, Joyce Bready, and Brenda Bullock.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 10th at 11 am at Saint Mark Missionary Baptist Church, 2714 Frederick Blvd., Portsmouth, VA 23704. Corprew Funeral Home is in charge.
