Carolyn E. Gaymon

Carolyn Evette Gaymon was born November 26, 1969 in Portsmouth, VA. She is preceded in death by her father Clarence Gaymon, her favorite uncle Keith “Junie” Wright, grandfathers James Lloyd, James Cherry, and her grandmother Mozetta Cherry.

Carolyn was raised in Portsmouth VA and attended Woodrow Wilson High School. Carolyn loved to listen to music, dance, and play spades. She was a Dallas Cowboys fan to her core. She loved having fun and was always the life of the party. Carolyn worked for many years in the financial industry as a customer service agent helping clients through some of their toughest moments. She was well loved by her coworkers. She received many awards for her work ethic and personality.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her mother Gloria Gaymon, son Quinton Gaymon (Jennifer), daughters Ashley Gaymon and Cassaundra Gaymon. Grandkids Alasia Bryant, Ah-mari Bryant, William Burroughs Jr, Elijah Burroughs, Gloria Nichols, Isaiah Nichols, Emmanuel Nichols, Quinton Gaymon, and Summer Gaymon. Siblings Patrice Jones, Sherese Carter (Keith), and Angela Hill (Aaron). She also leaves a host of aunt’s, an uncle, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many close friends.
