Frank Baez, Jr.

Frank Baez Jr., affectionately known as “Papi”, passed away at his home on Friday, August 12, 2022.  Frank resided in Portsmouth, Chesapeake, and lastly Suffolk, VA throughout his 42 years of life.

Frank was a devoted father, loving son, brother, nephew, cousin, boyfriend and a caring friend to all he met.  He worked as a Radiological Technician for Sentara for over 13 years as well as Bon Secours for 11 years.  Frank was a hard worker and enjoyed the simple things in life.  He loved to play video games and cheer on his favorite sports teams, mostly the Dallas Cowboys, LA Lakers, and Virginia Tech.

Frank is survived in death by his children- Camryn Baez, Kendra Berry-Baez, and Anthony Gallmon; his mother-Thea Renee Taylor; his brother- Nicholas Baez; his aunt- Laurie Scott; his girlfriend, Jennifer LaPoint and longtime friend and mother of his children, Dara Berry.  He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
