Paul A. Silver

Paul Anthony Silver was born on May 28, 1962, the first born to the late Helen Hedgepeth in Hollister, North Carolina. He moved to Virginia at the age of seventeen to pursue his journey into adulthood.

Paul’s professional career was spent working in construction. He was a brick mason for 30 years working under the guidance of Zeno Lee and Bruce Silver.

Paul spent his time enjoying nature. One of his favorite hobbies was fishing. He was often seen by family and friends, engaging in casual conversation or at the local lakes watching the turtles and geese. He was also well known in the community; his positive spirit drew people towards him. He will be remembered for his jokes and smile that would turn anyone frown upside down.

Paul departed this life on Monday, July 18, 2022, at the age of 60, joining his late mother, Helen Hedgepeth. He leaves to cherish in his memory, his four children; Ashely Silver, Brittany Silver, Lakisha Lee and Demetrice Lee, and his three grandchildren; Marcus Colden Jr, Samiya Lacey and Sa’mone Lacey whom he will greatly miss. Also, he leaves behind two siblings; Jose and Lina, one nephew; Andre, one niece; Tiana and many bonus grandchildren, family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
