Donald G. Patton

Our beloved, Donald G. Patton passed on to eternal rest on Monday, July 11,2022 at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center. He was born on September 2, 1942, to the late Macon Patton and Mae Black in Winston Salem, NC. He retired from the United States Navy after 18 years of service. He also retired with over 36 years of civil service from Naval Facilities Engineering Command Mid-Atlantic. After retirement, he kept busy with various hobbies. He especially enjoyed working on cars.

He was united in marriage to the late Joyce Miller. Three children were born to the union. He was dearly loves by his family and friends.

Through his sweet presence will be sorely missed, he will forever live in the treasured memories of those who knew and loved him. He leaves to cherish his memories, two sons; Shawn Patton (Ning) of Stockbridge, GA; Keith Patton of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; his daughter, Kelly Miller (Kendrick) of Austell, Georgia; grandchildren; Keith Patton, Asia Miller, Cameron King, Kendria Miller; his sister, Beverly Wade; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
