Kenya L. Atkins

On May 10,2022, Kenya L. Atkins peacefully transitioned into her eternal resting place. Kenya was born on May 25, 1991, to Ahmad Vinson and Tonya Vaughan. Kenya was raised in the city of Portsmouth and educated in the Portsmouth Public School System. Kenya worked as a Bakery Manager for Kroger. She enjoyed spending time with her family and having fun with her friends.

Kenya was preceded in death by her son- Jareal Atkins and grandparents-Louis Charles, Richetta Knight and Franklin Vinson.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory with her beloved husband DeSean Atkins; daughter-Jayla Atkins; three sons-Terrell Diggs, Dashaun Diggs and Josiah Atkins; grandparent-Janice Charles; her mother-Tonya Vaughan; her father-Ahmad Vinson; her sisters-Danielle Charles, Arielle Gatling and Italy Redwood; her brothers-Tywone Vaughan, Jamal Philips, Tony Gatling, Armad Gatling, Tyshawn Waters and Philip Walker.
