Frances M. Knight

Frances Knight was born in Plainfield, New Jersey and later located to Virginia.  She enjoyed life to the fullest and loved all her children.  Her door was always opened to everyone, and she had a heart of gold.  She reared many children and never turned away any child at all.

Frances was also a retired nurse.  She worked at Maryview Hospital, Manning Convalescent Home, Portsmouth General Hospital and she also did private care.

Frances is preceded in death by her father-Oscar Neal, Sr.; her mother-Rose Mae Neal; husband-Samuel Knight, Sr.; and two daughters-Victoria Knight and Patricia Knight.

Frances leaves behind her brother-John Neal (Wilma); her sister-Rose Hudgins; her children-Samuel Knight, Jr., Percy Newsome (LaKeisha), James Knight, David Knight, Ronisha Newsome, Anthony Knight and Jermaine Newsome; and two special children-Teresa Reed and Deborah Dixon.
