Virginia J. Holland

Virginia Ulease Jackson Holland (Magalene), 76, passed away on March 20, 2022, in Miami, Florida.  Virginia was a native of Portsmouth, VA, raised in the Truxton section and King St. Virginia attended I.C Norcom High School and went on to Tidewater Community College.  She worked as a nurse at Portsmouth General Hospital.  She also spent time tutoring children in the Jeffrey Wilson Homes area where she resided, and she loved to make clothing and go to the casino.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Holland.

She is survived by a special friend-Joseph Savage; her children-Gerald (Jerry), Katie Holland, Beverly H. Smith Douglas, Christina McManes Holland; a host of sisters and brothers; three grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
