Carolyn R. Whitaker, 58, went home to glory on November 7, 2015 in the comfort of her own home.
She leaves to cherish her memories: three daughters, Latoya Smith (Reginald), Katherine Smith and Latoya Holley of Portsmouth; twelve siblings, William Blount (Marzetta), Jerry Smith, Terry Smith, Myrian McIntosh, G. Aundre Smith (Beverly), Mildred Alex (Solanke Oluwaseun), Cerea McIntosh, Gary McIntosh, Len McIntosh, Mariah Ballard (John), Sylvia Cummings, and Belynda K. Wyche (Thomas); other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2015, 12 Noon at Divine Holiness Church of Christ Disciples, 2610 Cedar Rd, Chesapeake, Virginia 23323. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 13, 2015 from 7 pm to 8 pm at Corprew Funeral Home.
