Yvonne was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed helping others. A steadfast community advocate, she was recognized for her attention to detail and commitment to preserving the legacy of the historic community of Sugar Hill/Pinners Point; one of her passions and personal rewards. A devoted member of Morning Star Missionary Baptist for 88 years. She was the last surviving sibling of nine.
She leaves to mourn four daughters Regina Todd, Veryl Stanley Hines, Joann Rogers, and M. Annette Stanley and lovingly remembered by seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to her beautiful granddaughter Sharika Perkins (Rodney) for the benevolent care she extolled selflessly. An additional thank you to Amedisys Hospice for their excellent service and caregiving.
