On Wednesday, January 24, 2024,
Yvette Bennett was called home to eternal peace in the comfort of her home. Yvette Bennett was born December 29,1961 in Suffolk, VA to the late Annie E. Veal and Benjamin Bailey Jr.
She was educated in the Portsmouth Public School system and later joined the Portsmouth Public School system for employment as a bus monitor.
Yvette was preceded in death by her brothers Stanley L. veal, Larry D. Veal, Barry Veal and, Stevie L, Bailey and her husband Otis Bennett. She leaves to mourn her life her five sisters Evelyn
Martin, Barbara Blow, Estelle Scott, Mary Bone and Evanglyn (Yumma) Veal along with her three children Shavonne Veal, Micheal Veal and Kevin Veal eight grandchildren Micheal Veal Jr, Micah Veal, Shavonne Veal, Shikayla Veal, Kevin veal Jr. Kayden Veal, Leah Veal and Logan Veal, along with her extended grandkids Kamil Simmons, Javon Bland and Raekwon Bland.
A special niece Dashia Bennett and Debroah Blow along with a special nephew David Bennett and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends that she loved dearly.
