It is with great sadness that the family of Willie Mae Gallop Boyd, of Portsmouth, VA, announces her passing, on Wednesday afternoon, January 31, 2018, at the age of 63 years. Willie Mae will be lovingly remembered by her special friend Melvin Fulgham and her 5 children Dennis Boyd III (Alicia), Makena Davis (Joel), Marcus Boyd, Aonreke Boyd and Aondrea Thompson (Samuel) with her husband Dennis Boyd Jr. Willie Mae will also be fondly remembered by her ten grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Monday, February 5, 2018 at Corprew Funeral Home from 12 Noon to 8 pm. A funeral service in memory of Willie Mae will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 12:30 p.m., at New Mount Olivet, 1000 County Street, Portsmouth, VA. 23704. Interment will follow in the family plot at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Those who so desire to send flowers in memory of Willie Mae may send them to the funeral home (Corprew Funeral Home, 1822 Portsmouth VA, 23704).
