Wanda Alicia Riddick Covil departed this earthly life on December 19, 2021. Wanda was born May 11, 1971, to Morris and Bettie Riddick in New York City.
Wanda’s parents relocated to Portsmouth, Virginia where she was educated in the Public Schools. While Wanda attended Woodrow Wilson High School, she was a member of the Marching Band. She was known for her outgoing personality always wanting to extend love to others. Wanda’s compassion and zeal to care for others she obtained a PCA certification working for various agencies most recent Raising Hope Health Care.
Wanda was predeceased by her son-Breon Parrish Riddick; her father-Morris Riddick, Jr; maternal Grandparents-Willie Fred and Hannah Reid; paternal Grandparents-Marris Riddick, Sr. and Rosa Wesson.
Leaving to cherish her beautiful memories are her spouse-Christina Covil; her mother-Bettie R. Riddick; her children-Jamita, Julian and Zion Riddick; her sisters-Latoya, Dawn and Ashley Riddick, Tenisha and Marlisha Charles; her brothers-Morris III and Robert Riddick; her aunts- Jacqueline Awana of Orlando, Florida, Sandra R. Bell, Rosalyn Smith, Janice Lovett, Carolyn Riddick, Uncles, Wilbert Scott, Russell Hazelwood of Portsmouth, VA, Larry Wilson of North Carolina, God Mother Calvine Parker Counts of Suffolk, VA.
