“Let not your heart be troubled: Ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: If it were not so I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you…”
John 14:1-2
On Wednesday, January 12, 2022, our heavenly Father called home our beloved Vida Mae Parker. Vida Mae was born on March 12, 1955, in Portsmouth, Virginia, to the late Willie L. Parker, Sr. and Doris Parker.
Vida Mae was educated in the Portsmouth School System. She loved God and was a faithful member of Third Baptist Church. She always had a smile on her face and was loved by everyone with whom she came in contact with.
She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Doris Parker; two brothers-Willie Parker, Jr. (Mamie) and Brian Parker; two sisters-Deborah and Lisa Parker; two nephews-Antonio and DeAndre Parker; one niece-LaKeita Fields (Timothy); two great-nephews-Javon and DeAndre Parker, Jr.; one great-niece-Dream White; and a host of relatives and friends.
Servant of God well done. Rest from thy labor. The battle is over. The victory won. Enter the Master’s Joy.
