Vanessa Earline Blount, 63, departed this life on December 13, 2017. She was born on January 29, 1954 to Howard Earl Blount and the late Dorothy Lee Blount.
She attended Norfolk State University having majored in business administration. She worked for Kmart Department Store for 36 years as a lead associate sales clerk.
She leaves behind one brother Howard Blount Jr.; one sister Patricia Holland, two nieces Alesia and Natalie Holland; aunts, one uncle, and a host of cousins.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, December 17, 2017, from 2 pm to 5 pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 18, 2017, 12 Noon at Corprew Funeral Home Chapel, 1822 Portsmouth Blvd., Portsmouth, VA 23704. Interment will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake.
