COVID19 REGULATIONS FOR ATTENDING VIEWING AND CHAPEL SERVICES AT CORPREW FUNERAL HOME
Due to the recent increase in COVID19 cases, the governor of Virginia has established guidelines to reduce the spread of this pandemic virus. In an effort to keep our families, staff and facilities safe we are asking that all visitors comply with the following directives:
** Be subject to temperature checks, hand sanitation and social distancing of nothing less than 6 feet within the facility
**Facial coverings that cover the nose and mouth are required and must remain on while inside of the facilities for viewing and services
** Refrain from kissing, hugging, embracing others as your enter or leave the facilities to help reduce the spread of the virus
** If you are experiencing a cold or flu-like symptoms, please do not enter the funeral home at any time
** Chapel services are limited to 10 People, per Governor’s New Order and Mandate effective Monday, December 14, 2020
** During viewing hours, visitors may enter 10 at a time through a walk through process of viewing the deceased without lingering or having a large gathering

Mrs. Thelma Dockery, age 80, peacefully passed away Monday evening January 18, 2021 at Portsmouth Health and Rehab. She was born in Lewisburg, NC on July 29, 1940 to Willie Daniels and Roxie Daniels.
She was known as “Dee-Dee” by family and friends. Thelma accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior in the late 1990’s. Her favorite movie was “The Equalizer” and favorite game show was “The Wheel of Fortune.” She was a humorous lady that was always joking and laughing and she loved to spoil kids.
Thelma was preceded in death by her father Willie Daniels, mother Roxie Daniels, a brother Willie Daniels, Jr., and her sister Millie Cannon. She leaves to cherish her memory and life of 80 years one son, Pierre Daniels, daughter in law Sonjia Daniels of Portsmouth, VA. She is also survived by her brother Joseph Daniels of New Jersey, two nieces – Gwendolyn Cannon and Sharon Cannon, both of Portsmouth, VA; and a special cousin Alonzo Davis (also known as Pep). She will forever be remembered by a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
