Sarah Louise Jones was born to the late Joseph and Jessie Wilson in Thomaston, Alabama.
Her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ called her home on September 8, 2017. She is predeceased by her husband John Jones, and her son Marlon Randolph Jones. Mourning her loss and celebrating her life are her children John A. Jones, Sandra L. Howe, Phillip A. Jones and Shawn Jones-Oxendine; her sister Josephine Watts; her daughters-in-law Valerie Jones, Elysa Jones and Kim Jones; her grandchildren Clifford Jr, Justin, Marlon Jr., John III, Lee, Brian, Charles, Pamela, Alexandria, Phillip Jr. and Dylan; her great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and long-time loving friends. Viewing will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017, from 12 Noon to 8 pm. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 16, 2017, 1 pm at New Bethel Baptist Church located at 4212 Greenwood Drive , Portsmouth, VA. She will be laid to rest at Olive Branch Cemetery in Portsmouth, VA. The family wishes to thank everyone for their love and support during this difficult time.
