Rosie Lee (Marshall) Wilson was granted her wings on October 27, 20 2019. She was born on May 20, 1948 in Baltzer Mississippi to the late Bernice (Marshall) Perry.
Rosie matriculated at Tidewater Community College and received her Associates degree in computer programming in May of 1986. Rosie then worked for Unysis Corporation in Virgina Beach over 20 years as a computer programmer. She also worked for Sprint Nextel as a Radio Frequency Programmer for several years. Rosie went to work for Glasser and Glasser for 9 years started on 6/28/2010 she was a Legal Assistance in the Asbestos Settlement Deptment she really enjoyed her time there. Rosie was a tower of Faith andWisdom. She exuded a quiet calm and confidence that drew people to her easily.
She was a pillar in every church she attended and never hesitated to use her talents for the Kingdom of God. Rosie worked in the finace department for Anointed Word Ministry for 10 years. Rosie was known for her work ethic and reliability. She was always first to arrive and the last to leave.
She did all things as “Unto the Lord”.
Rosie was married to the late James Wilson on February 20, 1965. She is survivored by one brother Alex Perry and two neices Lindsey Perry, andAshley Perry, and Natasha Hamilton. She was also survived by her four children James Wilson, Adrian(Rebecca) Wilson, Ericka Myers, and Angela (Dr. Antonio) Bishop. As well as nine grandchildren. Kyle, Noah, Gabriella, Maximilian, Zymmorrah, Zeyd, LaShawnda, Antonio Jr., Destiny and James. Two Great-Grandchildren Shanyia and Kori and a Great- Grandson due Nov. 12 Jaiden. Rosie also cherished three spiritual daughters Wanda Chambers, Donna Queen, and Dionne Wyatt.
Memorial service will be held at Miracle of Faith Church 30 Claremont Drive Portsmouth, VA 23703 at 12:00 noon.
