** If you are experiencing a cold or flu-like symptoms, please do not enter the funeral home at any time

** Chapel and church services are open to the public; however, MASKS ARE REQUIRED, per Governor’s Executive Order #79 effective May 28, 2021

On Tuesday, June 22, 2021 Rosetta Elizabeth Williams quietly slept in the arms of Jesus. Rosetta was a native of Portsmouth, VA., where she resided during her life.

Rosetta joined New First Baptist Church, Taylorsville under the leadership of Rev. Dr. T. Melvin Steele. While at New First Baptist Taylorsville, Rosetta served on the Female Ushers Ministry and the Joint Ushers Ministry. She was employed at Consolate Nursing Care and retired from the Health Care Services after 30 years of service.

 

Rosetta was preceded in death by her parents Robert L. Williams, Sr. and Elizabeth O. Williams. She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter – Katina Fields (Joseph); two brothers – Robert L. “Junie” Williams, Jr., of Portsmouth, VA., and Bruce N. Williams (May) of Ahoskie, NC; one grandson – John Walter Williams; nieces – Shannon Williams and Sheryl Williams; one nephew – Bruce N. Williams, Jr., and a host of other relatives and friends.
