Romona L. Hunt, 63, departed this life on October 5, 2018. She was born on September 24, 1955 in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Tracey and Dorothy D. Mozelle. She was a former boilermaker at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Shop 41 and was employed as a prayer counselor with the Christian Broadcasting Network. Romona was a member of Burning Bush Worship Center, Norfolk, Virginia.
She leaves to cherish her memories: husband, Clarence S. Hunt; daughter, Leila Mozelle; two sons, Antonio Mozelle (Kashina), Franchun Hunt; two sisters, Gail Mozelle and Wanda Mozelle; grandchildren, Tyshea Mozelle, Antonio Mozelle Jr., Mekeisha Clarke, Dontrel Walker, Tiana Walker, Craig Mozelle, Courtney Coles, Taneka Skale; sisters-in-law, Mildred Wallace, Karen Jones, and Felicia Riddick; nieces, Deneisha Jones and Shaneeka Wallace; nephew, Richard White; other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 14, 2018, from 2 pm to 5 pm at Corprew Funeral Home, 1822 Portsmouth Blvd., Portsmouth, Virginia 23704. A service of love and remembrance will be held on Monday, October 15, 2018, 11 am at Burning Bush Worship Center, 405 Pendleton Street, Norfolk, Virginia 23523. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake, Virginia.
