Robert L. Veale

November 1, 1950 - March 16, 2023

Robert Lee Veale

Robert Lee Veale was born November 1, 1952, to Mary A. Lawrence (Veale) and Fred D. Veale Sr. in Nansemond County, VA. He passed away peacefully at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital on March 16, 2023.

Robert was employed at United Refrigeration as a forklift operator for over 20 years then at Dominion Power for the latter of his carrer. He loved to watch his westerns and Gunsmoke was one of favorites.
The locals know when they would see Robert, he would be in a model vehicle, as his hobbies included washing and detailing any vehicle he owned. He could be found on any given day wiping the dew off his car or truck first thing in the morning before leaving for work, Robert owned some of the cleanest cars/trucks seen around Cavalier Manor, and he could be indentified by his personilzed licenses plates that read R Veale or Veale 2. Among his favorties were a white Monte Carlo that belonged to his first cousin (Stanley Veale). Next came the white CHevorlet Pickup truck and then his treasured GMC Sierra pickup truck.

Robert is preceded in death by both his parents Mary A. Lawrence (Veale) and Fred D. Veale Sr.

Robert was loved and will be surely misssed by his siblings Fred D. Veale (Cheryl) Manassas VA. Larry Veale Chesapeake, VA Sylvia Davis (Leroy) Upper Marboro, MD and Marvin Lawrence ( Karen)
Portmouth Va, and a special friend Jeanette Turner, along with a host of nieces, newphews and cousins who will all feel the pain of his lost.
