Robert A. Artis, 73, entered into eternal rest on October 31, 2021. He was born July 15, 1948, in Portsmouth, VA, to the late Robert A. Brown, Sr. and Ghonieteen Brown.  He was a graduate of I.C Norcom High School in Portsmouth, VA, and was self-employed as a General Contractor.

 

Robert is survived by his daughters- Brittany Winston, Cheryl Winston, Robinique Winston, LaShea Winston, and Bymia Skeeter; his sons-Agenta Winston, Robert Winston, Alonzo Winston, Marquise Winston, and Corey Winston; bonus children-Rachel Artise, Linda Artise Foggie, Pinnecko Artise Tracey, Linnecko Artise Cash, Pinrecko Artise IV, Tena Artise and Damon Nash  Artise; sisters-Rose Arrington (Tommy), of Norfolk, VA, Eunice Winbron (Alonzo) of Atlanta, GA, Linda Artise (Pinrecko) of Portsmouth, VA, Carolyn Barnes (Ronnie) of Los Angeles, CA, and Teena Martin-Smith (LaBaron) of Long Beach CA; a brother-Kenneth Brown (Diane); 15 grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
