Rabbi Jehu August Crowdy, Jr., Executive Leader of the Church of God and Saints of Christ, passed this life on Sunday, April 10, 2016. He was the Executive Leader of the Church for fourteen (14) years following his predecessor, Rabbi Levi Solomon Plummer. Rabbi Crowdy is survived by his wife, Christel; children, LaToia, Taylor, and Jehu, III; sister, Jesyl Crowdy-Volkens; brother-in-law, Elder Asher Volkens; nieces, Leah Mattie and Rachel Lovey; mother, Sylvia W. Crowdy; an aunt, Mary Elizabeth Crowdy; cousins, relatives, and friends. He leaves to cherish his precious memory a host of devoted congregants throughout the United States, Africa, and Jamaica.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 20, 2016; 4300 Judah Lane, Suffolk, VA 23435.
