Naomi was born on December 26, 1977 in the city of Portsmouth, VA to Miles Stanley Jones and Beverly Waters (predeceased). Naomi graduated from I.C. Norcom High School in 1996 and received an Associate degree in criminal justice from Bryant & Stratton College in 2007. She went on to receive her Bachelor’s Degree in both Criminal Justice and Sociology from Norfolk State University and still continued to carry on her education by achieving a Master’s Degree in Urban Affairs in 2013.

Naomi worked as a behavioral health counselor for the Hampton and Newport News Community Service Board and Agape Counseling. In her spare time, she enjoyed singing and spending time with her family.

She leaves to cherish her memory: 3 children that she loved very dearly, Dystany Boothe, Donovan Boothe, and Andre Boothe, Jr.; her father, Miles Stanley Jones; her siblings; Tokisha Waters-Worsley (Samuel) and Penny Thomas, grandmothers, Vernice Gaskins and Rosa Harris; two nieces. Talexia and Samyah Waters; nephew Tariq Worsley; and Aunt Deatrice Mercer. She also leaves behind 7 uncles, 3 great aunts, 4 great uncles, and a host of loving extended family and friends.
