The Broken Chain
We little knew that morning that
God was going to call your name
In life we loved you dearly.
In death we do the same
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone;
For part of us went with you,
The Day God called you Home.
You left us peaceful memories,
You love is still our guide;
And though we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.
Our Family Chain is Broken
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again.

Obituary
“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day; and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing.” 2 Timothy 4: 7-8
Mother Lorine Hockaday Pitchford answered the call to God’s eternal rest and peace and was granted her angel wings on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 5:30 AM at Bon Secours Maryview Nursing Care Center in Suffolk VA.
