Mary Elizabeth Whitfield was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on March 7, 1942 to Irvin Norfleet and Marie Alberta Phelps. She entered into eternal rest on January 29, 2020.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted children; Rosalyn E Whitfield, Robert Whitfield, Juanita Whitfield, Raymond Whitfield, Darlene Whitfield, James Whitfield, Juanique Whitfield and Dasha Whitfield. She is predeceased by her loving daughter, Valerie Whitfield. She also leaves 20 beloved grandchildren, 34 adored great-grandchildren, and one very loved great grandchild. She also leaves one devoted sister, Vernelle Teixeira, and a host of loving family and friends.
