Obituary for Kevin Eugine Baker
Kevin Eugine Baker was born on August 17, 1977, to the late Linda Baker and late Detroit Powell. He passed away peacefully on Friday, January 19, 2024, at Riverside Regional Hospital. Kevin attended Newport News Public Schools and graduated from Heritage High School in 1997.
Kevin was known for his beautiful smile and sense of humor. He worked for different apartment complexes throughout the area as a maintenance worker. Kevin was a lifelong Raiders fan. He was preceded in death by Uncle Eddie Baker; two Aunts Patricia and Angel Baker.
He Leaves behind his three children Ernesha Towne, AmaJee and Cherish Baker, Alton Powel (Lori) James Powell known as Pete and Jonathan Powell (Erica) his five sisters; Latoya Baker, Joyce Powell, Beverly Williams (Lawerence), Karen Sinclair, and Debra Powell, three aunts; Peggy Hawkins, Ethel Baker Brown, and Sharlene Thomas and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Services will be held on: Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at 1pm at Cook Brothers Funeral Chapel 1601 27th St. Newport News, VA 23607.
