Juanita Ann Warren Crawford, of Portsmouth, Virginia, was summoned by God Almighty to enter into eternal rest on the morning of September 19, 2021, at Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, Virginia.

Juanita was born on July 26, 1965, to the late Mr. Byron Cassell and Mrs. Theresa Boggs.  She attended Portsmouth Public Schools. After which, Juanita demonstrated masterful service in the Hotel and Restaurant Industry focusing in Hospitality for over 20 years.  She was a manager for the Crystals Corporations in Georgia and she worked for the Holiday Day Inn Portside here in Portsmouth. For the last 17 years, she worked in the Industrial Medical Equipment field. She believed in and was a dedicated hard worker.

Juanita was gifted four handsome young sons in her life, which were the very beats of her heart: Solden, Montoya, and Twins Monntavious and Quinntavious.  She loved her children and her God-daughters- for she always wanted girls. She was very proud of them all.  Regardless of all the work that needed to be done, Juanita, whether it was in the park or in the living room, always spent quality time with her children.

At an early age, Juanita was introduced to Christ, as she and her baby sister Jean, attended Sunday services at Mount Herman Temple in the Mount Herman section of Portsmouth.  As a teenager, Juanita visited Holy Light Deliverance Church, also in Portsmouth, VA. However, in 2000 gave her heart totally over to Christ when she and her sons joined to United Full Gospel Revival Center Int’l Ministries under the leadership of Apostle Olivia D. Sharp, the Late Apostle Dallas Ellis, and Sr. Pastor Janet B. Ellis, her immediate pastor.

Juanita loved the Lord. She beautifully and continuously served until her health failed her.  She served faithfully and with such fervor in this ministry for over 21 years. She was an awesome and dedicated servant of the Lord, who had such a great love for God, His Leaders, and His people. Sister Juanita was very loyal and committed to her family, both natural and spiritual.  She was predeceased by her father, Mr. Byron Cassell.

Juanita leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Mrs. Theresa Boggs; four handsome sons, Solden Warren-Crawford, Montoya (Ashland), Monntavious (Ashleigh), and Quinntavious Crawford, all of Portsmouth; her precious grandbabies: Kylan and Mackenzii, Massiah, Messiyah, My’Kel, Ava, Mehlani, and Lauren.  Her sisters: Linda Spires, Brenda Hutchinson, and Jean Armour. A host of relatives, co-workers, friends, and her Revival Center Church Family.
