Howard Lee Glover Sr.
Howard Lee Glover, Sr. 75, of Portsmouth, Va died in his beloved hometown on January 11th, 2024.
He was born in Portsmouth to Mary E. Hills (née Fulford). Howard graduated from I. C. Norcom High School before following in the footsteps of his big brother Mack and joining the US Army. Upon completing his Army commitment, he retired twice. The latest retirement was from The York Street Building. Howard continued to support the armed forces and those who served by being an active member of the American Legion Post 190.
Howard was preceded in death by his mother, Mary E. Hills; his stepfather, Arthur Hills; his brother, Mack Glover Jr.; his son, Howard L. Glover and is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, a god daughter and cherished friends.
